Easy As Pie      Barbara’s Pie Making Class

Barbara will show you how easy it is to make a flaky, buttery crust and a delectable filling.

The class will cover:

- the fundamentals of crust-making
- the quick and easy technique for mixing pie dough
- pointers for rolling out the dough
- decorative techniques to make a delicious pie beautiful as well
the secrets to favorite fillings

The cost is just $75.00 per person and covers all of the ingredients. The class includes approximately three hours of instruction and each participant will take home a pie of his or her own making.  There is an additional charge for the pie plates, unless of course you bring one of your own!

As listed below, Barbara’s regularly scheduled classes are held in her kitchen. But if you prefer to have a custom class (or a pie-making party) in your own home, that is easily done. In either case, each participant will leave with a handmade pie and the know-how to make the most impressive of desserts, “easy as pie.”

To register for a class please email  barbara@piesbybarbara.com and indicate which class date you would like to attend and if you will be bringing other people. After you register, to pay for classes with Pay Pal, please see the “Buy Now” button below. If you want to send a check, please indicate this in your email and we’ll give you our mailing address in our confirmation email.

Custom Classes in your own home

To register for a class in your own home, please email  barbara@piesbybarbara.com and give a first and second choice of  dates and times when you would like Barbara to come to your home with all the equipment and ingredients for your own pie class.  You must have a minimum of 2 people, maximum of 6.  There is a $50 surcharge per class.


Refunds are not possible, but if you cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled class, your fee can be used for another class.
